Caribou News

Internationally – how is CARMA contributing?

CARMA relied on its population monitoring and climate database to contribute to:
1) NOAA’s 2024 Arctic Report Card
2) working with WWF to assess the vulnerability of migratory tundra caribou to climate change based on optimistic and pessimistic climate model projections to 2050 and 2100, and
3) summarized the relationships between vital rates and climate a cross a number of North American Herds.

We will be posting these three reports on this site in the near future
